There is a 3,000 square foot pavilion which can be reserved for graveside services or a reception following the service.

There are 3 sections to the cemetery.

Phase I – the original section (closed to plot sales)

Phase II – sectioned off in 2010. Each section has markers visible on the ground.

Phase III – land donated by the Howard family and currently one person interred there.

Due to the nature and age of the cemetery, not all rows are straight. It is thought that when the land was first put to use, the different families picked an area as their family plot and buried their relatives within that area. As time went on, the members have done their best to create rows for mapping purposes.

The map and list were created in November, 2021, by a combination of historical documentation and walking the property. Plots marked as “Unknown/Empty” have no markers or other documentation so it is not known if it is empty or if there had been someone buried there but there is no longer a headstone.

Locating a grave site – Since the rows in Phase I are not completely straight, you may want to pay close attention to the graves that adjoin any grave you are looking for in order to help you locate it at the cemetery. There is a Woodmen monument for Frank Plummer Maxwell, in the shape of a tall tree stump, which is marked by ◊ on the Phase I plat. You may find it helpful if used as a point of reference when trying to locate a gravesite at the cemetery.
